History
The European Council of Nuclear Cardiology (ECNC) was founded in December 2002, when the need for a professional representation of Nuclear Cardiology in Europe was perceived.
The European Association of Nuclear Medicine
(EANM) and the European Society of Cardiology
(ESC) are the principal European societies representing nuclear medicine and cardiology respectively. They both provide leadership in clinical, academic and professional
issues for their specialties. In support of these common aims the EANM CC
(Cardiovascular Committee) and ESC WG
(Working Group Nuclear Cardiology) have formed the European Council on Nuclear Cardiology (ECNC).
